Description
The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is seeking one or more suppliers to provide aircraft and engine parts and components, along with repair and overhaul services, for its CL 215T, Twin Commander, Dash 8-400 series, and Convair 580A aerial firefighting aircraft. The scope includes new parts, repair and overhaul of supplied components, labour for additional approved work, expedited turnaround, warranty support, and delivery duty paid to the agency's Air Operations facility. Work must be performed, certified, and documented in accordance with OEM repair instructions and applicable FAA or Transport Canada regulations. Parts must include appropriate regulatory certification and a completed Form One or FAA 8130-3 form, and repair work must be performed by a qualified designated overhaul or repair facility. Submissions are evaluated on qualifications and experience, approved Transport Canada or FAA service-centre credentials, delivery, specifications, insurance, warranty and service, and pricing. The submission must include the completed submission, pricing, proponent information, authorized warranty service-centre information, FAA/Transport Canada approved service-centre information, and three references. The resulting standing offer is expected to run for three years, with up to two additional one-year extensions, and provides no guaranteed volume or dollar value.
