Description
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research for potential sources capable of manufacturing and supporting 86 C-130J Loadmaster Crashworthy Seat kits: 51 Group A kits, part number 201112724-10, and 35 Group B kits, part number 201112725-30. The requirement includes materials procurement, fabrication, assembly, inspection, First Article Testing, packaging, and delivery, with qualification activities completed in time to support an initial kit delivery date of September 30, 2027. The contractor must also provide engineering and logistics support, including trial and verification installations for unqualified suppliers, resolution of kit deficiencies and structural damage, technical-order updates, nondestructive inspection procedures, corrosion repair and prevention data, inspection and repair procedures, aircraft modification support, sustainment and depot engineering, field representation, technical-order verification and validation, technical reports, program management, diminishing-manufacturing-sources support, drafting, and international technical assistance. Respondents must submit capability information describing relevant facilities, staffing, prior experience, production capacity, tooling, aircraft-parts manufacturing capability, and quality-assurance processes.
