Description

The Army seeks a commercially available or commercial-derivative Digital Intermediate Frequency subsystem to modernize satellite communications teleport infrastructure. The solution must convert analog L-band signals to and from standards-compliant digital IF streams, support digital signal processing and high-speed network transport, provide automated management and diagnostics, and meet resilience, security, and military compliance objectives. The selected solution is expected to be integrated, installed, tested, and configured across up to 20 or more teleport sites. The primary deliverable is a first-article system, with optional production units. Associated work includes technical data and operating manuals, operator and maintainer training, first-article test reports, a logistics demonstration, integration support, and security authorization artifacts. For this initial stage, vendors must submit a 5–10-page Solution Brief addressing technical capability, experience and past performance, production and sustainment, notional pricing, and global integration and installation. The brief is due December 10, 2026, at noon Eastern Standard Time. Selected vendors may be invited to a pitch and technical demonstration, followed by a later proposal stage.
