The Army is conducting market research for ongoing maintenance and support of its Motorola ASTRO 25 P25 land mobile radio network. The draft performance work statement describes support for the master site, five repeater sites, consoles, and voice logging and playback stations. Work includes 24/7 remote technical support, on-site incident response and restoration, hardware repair and advanced replacement, annual preventive maintenance, software and security updates, quarterly security technical implementation guide updates, vulnerability scanning, and a two-year system upgrade service that may include software releases, necessary hardware, third-party updates, and implementation services. The notice requests capability statements addressing technical capacity, Motorola authorization and access to proprietary tools, information assurance, commerciality, NAICS suitability, business size and socioeconomic status, and interest in competing as a prime or through a teaming arrangement. It is an RFI for information and planning purposes only; the government is not requesting proposals. The notice states an intent to award the eventual requirement sole-source to Motorola Solutions, Inc.
