Description
The Department of National Defence is requesting three established-production high-frequency radio sets with batteries, spare batteries, individual intelligent chargers, broadband antennas, protective IP67 cases, external speakers, programming software, and related accessories. The radios must operate across 1.6–30 MHz, support analog and digital voice communications, provide up to 125 watts PEP transmit power, include GPS, automatic link establishment, selective calling, noise reduction, and compatibility with AN/PRC-138, AN/PRC-152, and AN/PRC-160 radios. Equipment must meet specified Canadian radio-frequency, safety, STANAG 2345, and MIL-STD-810G or equivalent requirements, operate from -30°C to +60°C, and weigh no more than 7 kg including the battery. The requirement also includes antenna masts or sectional poles, coaxial cables, ice screws, bilingual markings and warning plates, an operator and maintenance publication package, and at least 36 months of supplier-supported software and equipment updates. Radios require a minimum 24-month manufacturer warranty, while batteries require at least a one-year warranty. The initial quantity is three complete sets, with an optional quantity of twelve additional sets. Offers are evaluated using mandatory technical criteria and lowest evaluated price. Bidders must complete Sections 2, 3, and 4 of the attached DND Form 552 and include it with the offer.
