Description
The County of Ocean is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply, deliver, and potentially install outdoor waste and recycling receptacles for use throughout the county. This contract aims to provide a readily available source for purchasing commercial-grade receptacles suitable for various locations such as parks, trails, recreational facilities, public buildings, open spaces, and administrative facilities. The county intends to establish a contract that offers a variety of receptacle styles and configurations, including fully enclosed waste and recycling receptacles, single, dual, and triple-stream options, concrete, steel, decorative, and park/trail receptacles. Sensor-equipped, compacting, and solar-powered receptacles, as well as recycling centers, may also be purchased. Units must be constructed from durable materials suitable for outdoor public use, such as reinforced concrete, galvanized steel, powder-coated steel, stainless steel, recycled plastic, polyethylene, or composite materials. All deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination to locations throughout Ocean County. All equipment furnished must include the manufacturer's standard warranty, and any extended warranties offered should be identified in the bid submission. Equivalent products may be considered if permitted and if the bidder demonstrates compliance with all material requirements.
