Description
The Department of the Air Force is procuring a 180-kVA fixed frequency converter system, or an equal, to supply reliable 400 Hz aircraft ground power. This system is essential for KC-46 and C-17 aircraft maintenance operations at the main hangar door of the 305th Maintenance Squadron (305 MXS) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL). The existing electrical infrastructure is insufficient for mission-critical equipment. The contractor will be responsible for procuring and delivering the converter system, including all necessary input/output cables and transportation to Bldg 2201. Following installation by Base Civil Engineering, the contractor shall perform testing and commissioning to ensure full operational functionality and compliance with safety codes. Training for designated government personnel on basic operation, safety, and troubleshooting is also required. The project initiation is within 30 days of contract award, with total completion not exceeding 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must comply with all relevant National Electrical Code, OSHA Safety Standards, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and JBMDL engineering and safety directives.
