Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for the Department of Veterans Affairs regarding the replacement of fire alarm system components at the New Jersey Healthcare System in Lyons, NJ. The project involves replacing components associated with 18 control panels and 23 remote annunciators. This includes replacing fire alarm control panel doors, CPUs, remote annunciators, power supplies, common relay modules, fiber net com modules, network adapter modules, mounting brackets, switch banks, microphones, audio & telephone interface modules, LCD annunciators/touch screens, and network controllers for annunciators. The scope also includes reworking and reconnecting fiber optic cables, programming, testing, and commissioning new devices to ensure full system functionality and code print-out capabilities. The upgraded system must comply with NFPA 72, 2025 VA Edition, and eliminate all existing ground faults. All components must be compatible with the existing Kidde Global Solutions (formerly Edwards) EST3 platform. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a preference for domestically manufactured content.
