Description
The Texas A&M University System is requesting proposals for a complete lightning and hazardous weather detection, alerting, and mass notification platform for the RELLIS campus and RELLIS Proving Grounds. The solution must detect cloud-to-ground and cloud-to-cloud lightning, thunderstorms, severe storms, high winds, hail, and tornado signatures; provide tiered alerts and all-clear logic; and support automated SMS and email notifications, configurable user groups, a web dashboard, and administrative controls. The vendor must furnish and install the platform hardware, sensors, communications, software, licenses, loudspeakers, poles or towers, control cabinets, and power systems; configure, commission, test, and validate the system; and provide training, documentation, maintenance, repairs, updates, calibration, 24/7 technical support, and annual performance reports. Audible alerting is required for three priority service areas covering more than 2,000 acres, while two additional areas require detection, electronic notifications, and monitoring without audible alerting. Proposals must include technical and pricing information, accessibility documentation, a completed HECVAT assessment, a current SOC 2 Type 2 report, a notarized non-collusion affidavit, an executed offer, and a completed State of Texas subcontracting plan.
