The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through its Department of General Services, Bureau of Procurement, is issuing an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) for Fire Extinguishers, Maintenance, and Repair Services. This ITQ aims to qualify responsible contractors to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and disposal services for fire extinguishers. Additionally, contractors will provide new fire extinguishers and accessories to Commonwealth agencies. Local Public Procurement Units may also utilize this contract. To qualify, contractors must have at least three years of experience in fire extinguisher maintenance and repair and utilize service technicians certified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 10, ICC/NAFED, or equivalent. Contractors must also identify the Pennsylvania counties in which they will provide services and provide proof of required insurance. This ITQ is designated as a Small Business Reserve (SBR), requiring DGS-certified small businesses to qualify and receive an award. All qualifications will be accepted electronically through the JAGGAER portal.
