INVITATION FOR BIDS The Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District invites sealed bids for IFB #27-02, Installation of Landfill Gas Extraction Wells, Crapo Hill Landfill, Dartmouth, MA. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to excavate and install landfill gas extraction wells, as specified in the IFB. Bids will be received at the District office, 300 Samuel Barnet Boulevard, New Bedford, MA 02745, until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The IFB will be available beginning October 7, 2026 at the District office or electronically by request to lferreira@gnbrrmdistrict.org. The District reserves the right to waive minor informalities and reject any or all bids if in the public interest. Description
The Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse Management District is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of landfill gas extraction wells at Crapo Hill Landfill in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The scope includes furnishing all tools, supervision, equipment, and labor for work incidental to excavating and installing the wells, as specified in the invitation for bids. The applicable UNSPSC classification is well drilling construction and maintenance services. The invitation for bids may be obtained by email request to the information contact on or after October 7, 2026. Electronic quotes are not allowed; sealed bids are required. Bids will be opened on October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
