Description
Lake County seeks qualified contractors to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and, when needed, replace landfill operating systems. Work may include civil construction and earthwork; leachate collection, pumping, storage, and piping; water, sewer, and utility infrastructure; lift stations and pumps; industrial electrical and air systems; control panels and programming; sensors and telemetry; welding and fabrication; and confined-space work. New landfill construction is excluded. Services are assigned as needed, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum expenditure. The scope covers the primary landfill facility and three closed landfill sites. Contractors must respond within 24–48 hours of a service request, or within four hours when notified of an emergency. The contract has an initial one-year term, with two optional two-year renewals by mutual written agreement.
