Description
Orange County seeks a contractor to provide the labor, equipment, maintenance of traffic, and incidentals needed to install, remove, relocate, clean, straighten, reset, and repair traffic signs and sign panels. The work also includes furnishing street identification sign blades to County specifications. Work will be ordered as needed through delivery orders under an indefinite-quantity construction term contract; the listed quantities are estimates, and payment is based on installed work and the applicable unit prices. The bid schedule includes single-post and multi-post signs, sign panels, street identification blades, and unskilled and technical labor. Bidders must provide at least three similar completed projects from the preceding ten years, copies of applicable licenses and certifications, and the required bid security. A bid bond or alternative surety is required when the offer exceeds $200,000; payment and performance bonds are required after award when the contract amount exceeds that threshold. The contract has a 12-month initial term with two additional 12-month renewal options.
