Description
The City of Sanford is soliciting sealed bids for the Jackson Heights CDBG-NR construction project. The scope includes temporary traffic control and access, clearing and grubbing or demolition, temporary erosion control, public sanitary sewer installation, public waterline installation, storm system installation, asphalt milling and pavement patching, roadway and sidewalk construction, and road signage. Bidders must furnish all required labor, materials, and equipment and must be licensed in North Carolina as Public Utilities Contractors. Bidders must also demonstrate experience with projects of similar size and nature and comply with applicable local, state, and federal contract provisions, including Davis-Bacon and other federally funded project requirements. The project is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant program. Bidders must use the Bid Form included in the Bidding Requirements purchased directly from the Owner's Engineer; the Bidding Requirements cost $50. Minority subcontractor outreach and documentation are required as specified in the project bid documents.
