Description
The Livonia Housing Commission/City of Livonia is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed contractors for bathroom improvements in 120 resident units. The work includes removal and disposal of existing vanities, mirrors, and lighting fixtures; storage of replacement equipment; supply and installation of new vanities, faucets, mirrors, and lighting fixtures; associated electrical work and code updates; minor wall repairs and adjustments; and thorough cleaning before resident re-entry. Proposed materials must meet or exceed the specified vanity, faucet, mirror, and lighting requirements or approved equivalents. Proposals must include qualifications, relevant experience, at least two recent similar-project references, licensing and insurance documentation, an anticipated start date, estimated duration, detailed schedule, foreseeable scheduling constraints, and the completed cost proposal form. A 5% bid security bond is required. The solicitation evaluates qualifications and experience, total cost, proposed timeline, resident-disruption mitigation, references, and past performance.
