Description
The contract covers exterior renewal of the Kananaskis Residences. Work includes abatement of lead-containing paint and removal of asbestos-containing sealants; demolition and disposal of existing exterior cladding, trims, and building paper; localized repairs to rotten wall sheathing and framing; and replacement of metal fascia, eavestroughs, and downspouts. The contractor must install new fiber-cement wall cladding, weather-resistive barriers, joint tapes, self-adhered membranes, wood strapping, trims, and metal flashings; replace sealants around windows and exterior penetrations; and install powered garage-door openers at each house, including associated electrical components, springs, cable drums, tubes, safety sensors, belts, and other required materials.
