Description
The City of Lee's Summit is soliciting indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery contracts for assorted water meters. Required products include 3/4-inch through 1-inch positive-displacement meters, 1-1/2-inch and 2-inch displacement meters, and 2-inch through 8-inch compound meters, generally with Itron connectors; specified compound meters include Sensus Omni C2 models or approved alternates. Estimated quantities total 1,172 units, but the City guarantees no minimum or maximum purchases. Meters must meet applicable AWWA, NSF, ANSI, EPA, and Safe Drinking Water Act lead-free requirements. Additional requirements include pre-shipment manufacturer testing with results attached to each meter, specified encoder and freeze-protection features, and detailed warranties and guarantees. The vendor must provide transportation, delivery, and off-loading. The contract has an initial one-year term, up to four successive one-year renewal terms, and a possible six-month transition extension.
