Description
The City of Norfolk is seeking a vendor to provide and install three 250-horsepower Yamaha outboard engines and propellers for a harbor patrol boat. The scope includes removing and palletizing the existing engines and associated equipment; installing required mounts, wiring harnesses, hydraulic accessories, power-assist modules, controls, displays, fuel-system components, batteries, and related rigging; testing the completed installation; and delivering the repowered boat and removed parts to the City. Work must be completed at the contractor's facility, and the contractor must be located in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, or Suffolk. The equipment must include at least a three-year manufacturer's warranty and the installation must include at least a one-year warranty. Quotes must be submitted electronically through the City's electronic bid service provider website; hard-copy and emailed quotes are not accepted. The purchase is funded by a federal grant and requires compliance with the applicable federal grant terms and conditions. The solicitation requires the completed RFQ cover page, Attachments A through F, electronic vendor-submission requirements, electronic bid-form pricing, and a proprietary-information statement.
