NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg intends to procure the repair of nine printed circuit boards, NSN 5998-01-134-7987, part number 4965C25G01, used in a submarine atmosphere-control application. The items are to be delivered to DLA Distribution Norfolk, Virginia. The notice identifies Treadwell Corporation as the original equipment manufacturer and only known source because the Government does not own the technical data or rights needed to obtain the repair from additional sources. This is a presolicitation and notice of intent to negotiate with only one responsible source under FAR 6.302. Interested organizations may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations; firms not already approved to manufacture the material must submit a Source Approval Request, but the procurement will not be delayed for approval. The procurement is for a one-year period with options, will use FAR Part 15 procedures, and is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside despite the conflicting classification metadata. Electronic procedures will be used, and the solicitation is expected to be posted to NECO.
