Description
The City of New Iberia is soliciting sealed bids for the Sucrose Drive Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks Odor Control Addition. The base bid requires all materials and labor to furnish and install a complete hydroxyl radical ozone odor control system, including associated piping, equipment, electrical work, conduit, and conductors. Two odor control units are required, one for each structure, and the system must be capable of treating high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide. An alternate treatment method is permitted subject to the design and modification requirements stated in Addendum No. 1; Alternate No. 1 covers deletion of Odor Control Unit No. 2 and related piping and equipment. The engineer's estimate is $350,000. Bidders must hold the applicable Louisiana Municipal & Public Works construction license. A bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The bid must be submitted on the furnished Contractor's Bid Form, and Addendum No. 2 requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by email. The solicitation package includes the advertisement, bid form and bond requirements, plans/specifications references, and two addenda.
