Description
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is soliciting bids for replacement of the HVAC systems serving Headquarters Building A. The work includes removal and replacement of rooftop packaged air handlers, split-system and ductless split-system equipment, rooftop exhaust fans, and data-center computer-room air-conditioning equipment. The contractor must also install associated ductwork, piping, curbs, electrical connections, refrigerant systems, condensate connections, equipment supports, insulation, and seismic restraints. The scope includes updating the building automation system to integrate new, existing, and future HVAC equipment; coordinating HVAC fire-system integration; maintaining operations during demolition and construction; performing testing, startup, air and water balancing, controls verification, commissioning, and required closeout documentation. Specified equipment includes Daikin air handlers and split systems, Greenheck exhaust fans, and related controls and accessories. The bid requires a 5% bid security, a 5% subcontractor list, and a preference-eligibility certificate only if the bidder claims the applicable preference.
