Description
The City of Las Vegas is soliciting proposals from qualified construction managers/general contractors to provide construction manager at risk services for the Owens Avenue Interceptor Phase 1 and 2 Project. The work includes approximately three miles of 72- to 78-inch sewer interceptor, 2.5 miles of approximately 15-by-12-foot reinforced concrete box, utility relocations, and roadway elements including pedestrian and traffic signal upgrades. Preconstruction services include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis, recommendations regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor, and other construction conditions, as well as subcontractor-selection support. The estimated project cost is $88 million for Phase 1 and $95 million for Phase 2, for a combined estimated cost of $183 million. Preconstruction services for both phases are anticipated to begin in November 2027 and continue through the third quarter of 2030; construction is anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2028, with estimated completion in the second quarter of 2030.
