The New York Power Authority is issuing a Request for Applications inviting qualified New York State-based providers—including technical high schools, community colleges, universities, New York State or federally recognized Indian Nations and Tribal organizations, trade associations, manufacturers, and others—to collaborate in developing technical training opportunities, hands-on experience, paid internships, and full-time jobs for people entering the clean energy workforce. Applications or proposals are continuously accepted, with three stated consideration deadlines: September 15, 2026; November 30, 2026; and January 29, 2027. The opportunity includes a 10% overall Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation goal.
