Description

The Indian Health Service is soliciting one Automated Prescription Pickup and Storage Unit for Gallup Indian Medical Center. The contractor must provide, deliver, install, configure, and commission the unit; train pharmacy, information technology, and security staff; and provide an annual service agreement covering preventive maintenance, routine service, repairs, replacement parts, remote monitoring, diagnostics, alerts, and repair response. The system must hold 500 prescriptions and be expandable to 1,500, provide adjustable storage, ADA-compliant access, concurrent patient pickup, secure identity verification, dual patient-and-pharmacy access, secure prescription storage, HIPAA-compliant operation, a standalone option, and 24/7/365 remote support. The unit must comply with applicable federal, tribal, and New Mexico requirements, including HIPAA, ADA, DEA regulations, New Mexico Board of Pharmacy rules, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
