Description
This project involves the installation of solar-powered runway and taxiway lights, a beacon tower, and new power for an existing wind cone at Hassell Field Airport in Clifton, Tennessee. Bids will be received by Garver, the engineering firm, until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. An optional virtual pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Digital copies of the bid documents are available for a fee. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. This project is partially funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and requires compliance with specific federal provisions, including Buy American Preference, Civil Rights Assurances, Davis-Bacon Requirements, and Debarment and Suspension clauses. Additionally, bidders must submit Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation information within five days after bid opening.
