Description
Yakima County Fire District #2 seeks a qualified firm to provide construction management services for the Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Yakima Training Center Firefighter Facility project. Services may include professional engineering construction observation, materials testing, assistance with financial and performance reporting, and grant administration. The project includes a concrete foundation, utility improvements, a drainage system, and on-site assembly of a prefabricated modular structure; surveying and design development are not yet complete. The project is funded through the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation Infrastructure Program and must comply with applicable Build America, Buy America Act requirements and other federal award conditions. Proposals will be evaluated on personnel qualifications, federal funding and construction administration experience, cost, proximity, past performance, and references. The district may interview shortlisted firms. Design completion is targeted for February 2027, with construction anticipated in 2027, subject to project development and scheduling.
