Description
Central Washington University seeks one or more qualified vendors to provide ongoing independent investment consulting and fiduciary advisory services for its retirement and voluntary investment plans. Services include investment oversight and monitoring, fund research and due diligence, fee benchmarking and analysis, investment policy statement development and monitoring, quarterly reporting, governance support, committee education, and strategic retirement-plan recommendations. The advisor must maintain Registered Investment Adviser status, demonstrate relevant higher-education defined-contribution plan experience, and remain independent from proprietary investment products. Regular Retirement Committee meeting attendance and fiduciary governance training are required; participant education resources and an online fiduciary governance portal are preferred. Proposals must also include a company profile, service description, diversity plan, at least three comparable references, and all-inclusive cost scenarios. The initial contract term is three years, with mutually agreed annual extensions up to a total of eight years. The solicitation permits resulting contract use by other Washington public higher-education institutions, subject to the stated cooperative terms.
