Description
The City of Fort Myers is soliciting proposals for roadway resurfacing and rehabilitation at multiple street locations. The scope includes mobilization, maintenance of traffic, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, asphalt milling, Superpave asphalt overlays, base and subgrade work where specified, full-depth reclamation as an alternate, and associated thermoplastic and painted pavement striping. A separate striping package covers restriping lane lines, centerlines, edge lines, turn lanes, stop bars, arrows, symbols, crosswalks, and other pavement markings. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, permits, inspections, and coordination necessary to complete the work in accordance with City requirements, Florida Department of Transportation standards, and applicable MUTCD requirements. The technical proposal must address project approach, relevant experience, project team and resources, subcontractors, and schedule. Authorized work is to be completed within four months after the Purchase Order date, and the solicitation requires a single signed PDF proposal submitted electronically through the designated portal, along with the required questionnaire responses, bid security, capacity certification, affidavits, licenses or permits, and supporting documentation.
