Description
The City seeks a contractor to relocate and reconnect domestic water and natural gas utilities at a municipal facility. The work includes installing new natural gas piping and an exterior gas main, relocating approximately 25 linear feet of domestic water main into a utility tunnel, reconnecting existing meters and backflow-prevention equipment, and installing an electrical circuit for the air-gap pump. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, protection, and restoration, and coordinate utility shutdowns and inspections with the relevant utilities and agencies. The scope also includes pressure testing and commissioning the gas system, flushing and leak-testing the water system, certifying the relocated backflow assembly, and providing closeout documentation such as inspection approvals, test records, warranty information, and record drawings. Work is to be completed during weekends. Bids are submitted as one electronic PDF through the named procurement portal; the contract term is three months with a possible extension.
