Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for 1,286 feet of metallic steel tubing, 0.375-inch outside diameter with a 0.020-inch wall thickness, cold drawn, in 10- to 24-foot random lengths. The tubing must be corrosion- and heat-resistant, conform to the cited SAE AMS specifications, and be marked in accordance with SAE AMS 2807. The requirement includes origin inspection and acceptance, domestic-material restrictions, packaging and marking requirements, metal certification, quality-conformance inspection, and delivery FOB origin. The solicitation states that quotations must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System and that the requested quantity may vary by plus or minus 10 percent.
