Description
Black Butte School District 41 is soliciting proposals for dedicated internet access (DIA) services to support its educational and administrative operations. The district requires a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective internet solution with high-speed connectivity. The selected provider will be responsible for providing symmetrical high-speed internet with guaranteed bandwidth and service-level commitments, including network availability of 99.99%, low latency, and jitter. The RFP includes options for 36-month, 60-month, and 120-month terms with five optional one-year voluntary extensions. Proposals must include a detailed fiber pathway map, network diagram, and service level agreement. The district strongly prefers buried fiber in armored conduit, and special construction may be required. The project may require USDA U.S. Forest Service permitting and coordination with Central Electric Cooperative. Proposals must comply with E-rate program guidelines and FCC regulations, including the national security rule. The evaluation will consider ability to support requirements, service reliability, timeline, scalability, contract terms, proposal completeness, references, and cost.
