Description
The City of Frisco is soliciting proposals from insurance companies rated “A” or better with experience serving Texas municipalities to provide specific and aggregate stop loss insurance for its self-funded employee medical and prescription drug plans. The requested coverage includes multiple deductible options, unlimited maximum coverage limits, a 125% aggregate corridor, 100% minimum attachment percentage, composite rate schedules, renewal rate-cap options, and no-new-lasers-at-renewal protections. Proposals must address plan mirroring, adoption of the current state-filed policy document, interface fees, capitated fees, prescription drug rebates, and shared savings. The initial policy term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with provisions for up to four additional annual renewals by mutual agreement. Required submission items include a pricing sheet, the City questionnaire, supplemental information forms, and a signed signature page. Responses may be submitted electronically through Bonfire or by hard copy and digital copy on CD or flash drive.
