The City of Muncie, Indiana will hold a public hearing on July 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. local time, concerning the recommendation to award a public-private agreement (BOT Agreement) for the design, development, building, operation, and/or maintenance of a new fire station to replace the existing fire station #5. This project also includes all necessary and related improvements and equipment. The City issued a request for proposals and qualifications for the project. Following a review and analysis of the proposals received, a recommendation has been made to the Common Council to award the BOT Agreement to GM Development Companies LLC. Copies of the proposals and a written explanation for the recommendation are available for public inspection and copying at the City Hall during regular business hours by appointment.
