Description
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is soliciting one technical proposal from a prequalified C-6 Level A consultant for construction inspection services on an approximately 11.3-mile section of Route 287 between mileposts 47.1 and 58.4. The project includes concrete pavement rehabilitation, full- and partial-depth pavement repairs, slab stabilization, joint and crack sealing, shoulder rehabilitation, a 1-inch ultra-high-performance thin overlay, ramp resurfacing, bridge repairs, guiderail replacement, traffic signal modernization at six intersections, aerial utility relocations, and intelligent transportation system improvements. Work will be performed across multiple zones, phases, and stages while maintaining traffic and accommodating environmental, utility, and seasonal constraints. The consultant must provide a project manager and key staff including an assistant resident engineer/office engineer, bridge inspector, road/ITS/electrical inspector, road/bridge inspector, and schedule reviewer. Required qualifications include specified professional engineering or NICET credentials and relevant construction inspection experience. The technical proposal must include a letter of transmittal, mandatory qualification and evaluation forms, resumes and references, organization and staffing information, team commitment certification, required certifications or license proof, and letters of commitment. The submission is a one-step technical proposal uploaded through Bid Express, with the file name formatted as “TP-XXX FIRM NAME.”
