Description
The California Department of Industrial Relations seeks a contractor to evaluate, calibrate, maintain, and repair gas detection systems, gas meters, hand pumps, and air sampling pumps, including Draeger, Industrial Scientific, RAE Systems, and SKC equipment. The scope includes replacement parts and accessories, preventative maintenance, written evaluations and estimates, calibration certificates or service reports, and one-year service warranties. The contractor must provide calibration results traceable through an unbroken chain to applicable National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, maintain facilities in the United States, and meet specified service timelines. The contract also includes as-needed supply and delivery of calibration gas cylinders and a fixed $60,000 allowance for approved replacement parts. The three-year contract has a stated budget of $490,000, and bids exceeding that amount may be deemed nonresponsive.
