Description
The Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR) is soliciting offers for agricultural drip tape. The contractor shall furnish all materials, packaging, and transportation necessary to supply 7.3 million linear feet of agricultural drip tape. The drip tape must be a high-quality polyethylene irrigation product with a 5 mil wall thickness, 7/8 inch diameter, 12-inch emitter spacing, and a flow rate of 0.45 gallons per minute per 100 feet. Material must be provided in bulk rolls of 7,000 to 10,000 feet and clearly marked with linear footage, wall thickness, flow rate, emitter spacing, and manufacturing lot number. Packaging must prevent damage during shipment and include vendor name, purchase order number, and quantity. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted by a designated Government Official at the delivery location. Non-conforming supplies will be rejected and replaced at no cost to the government, with shipping fees for rejected supplies paid by the vendor. Delivery is FOB Destination to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., Lompoc Farm, 3901 Klein Blvd., Lompoc, CA 93436. Initial delivery of 300,000 feet is required within 30 days after receipt of order, with the remaining balance due within 90 days after receipt of order.
