Description
The Town of Billerica seeks an independent elevator consultant or qualified design team to evaluate the existing hydraulic passenger elevator at the Billerica Senior Center and prepare a complete, competitively biddable modernization package. The selected consultant will also assist with bidding and construction administration. The Town has identified a preliminary contractor budget proposal of approximately $206,729 for planning purposes, but respondents must independently evaluate existing conditions, project requirements, and anticipated construction costs. Minimum qualifications include at least five years of relevant elevator consulting, design, specification, or modernization experience; experience preparing manufacturer-neutral modernization specifications and bidding documents; construction administration experience; an identified project manager; and all applicable professional licenses, certifications, and registrations. Proposals must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 and be submitted as one PDF by email.
