Description
Merced Union High School District is soliciting bids for a complete audio/visual upgrade at Yosemite High School's gymnasium. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, programming, commissioning, training, and incidental materials necessary to install a complete operational system. The specified equipment includes Renkus-Heinz loudspeakers and subwoofers, a Biamp amplifier with DSP and Dante, Extron presentation switching and HDMI distribution equipment, a wall-mounted touch panel, a PoE+ network switch, a ScreenBeam wireless presentation system, a Sharp/NEC 10,000-lumen laser projector and lens, a Chief projector cage, and a Da-Lite projection screen. No substitutions are allowed except for newer versions of the listed equipment. The project is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, and the successful bidder must hold a Class B or C-7 California contractor's license, be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and perform at least 15% of the work without subcontractors. Work is scheduled for completion within 19 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with the specified work window from December 21, 2026, through January 8, 2027.
