Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a Request for Information market survey for a follow-on contract supporting the Terminal Flight Data Manager system. The anticipated scope includes 24/7 second-level engineering support; software maintenance and development; defect correction; system adaptation; security, safety, performance, reliability, maintainability, and availability engineering; quality assurance; configuration management; documentation; depot logistics; laboratory and development-environment support; and program management. The planned effort also includes technology refresh, site implementation and deployment, support for up to 89 operational sites plus a potential Anchorage site, and development and implementation of a cloud-migration approach for TFDM services. Respondents must provide company information, capability information addressing identified technical challenges, relevant past performance involving transition of an operational system developed by another company, and additional comments. Responses are limited to 40 pages and must address Sections 6(a) through 6(d) of the market survey.
