Description
The project involves installing approximately 8,700 linear feet of 4-inch to 16-inch water main, including valves, hydrants, service connections, and miscellaneous related work. The procurement is subject to requirements including Davis-Bacon, Illinois public-works employment laws, American Iron and Steel provisions, disadvantaged business enterprise affirmative-effort requirements, and WIFIA requirements. The work is expected to be funded in part through loans from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
