Description
The City seeks a supplier for liquid sodium hypochlorite solution at 12.5% by weight and 15% by volume, meeting AWWA B300-04 purity requirements. The estimated 2027 requirement is 201,000 gallons, but the City will pay only for quantities ordered by purchase order. Deliveries will be ordered as needed, require 24-hour advance notice, and must be made to the designated treatment and well sites. The supplier must clean up any spills before leaving the premises. The contract period is no earlier than February 1, 2027, through February 29, 2028, with options for calendar years 2028 and 2029. Bidders are encouraged to submit pricing for those option years. The successful bidder must also provide a minimum two-hour sodium hypochlorite safety seminar at a City facility before the contract begins.
