Description
The City is soliciting construction bids for approximately 13,047 linear feet of 6- to 12-inch water main, including new hydrants, valves, water service connections, and related appurtenances. The work also includes lead service line replacement activities, sanitary and storm sewer removal and replacement, abandonment of existing water mains, and associated excavation, testing, disinfection, utility coordination, and restoration of pavement, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and landscaping. Bids are submitted electronically through the named procurement portal, with unit prices entered in its bid tables. The bid package requires bid security equal to 10% of the base bid, a mandatory pre-bid conference, and compliance with disadvantaged-business outreach and other project-specific certifications. The contract requires the contractor to perform at least 30% of the work with its own forces unless the Owner consents to a greater subcontracted share.
