Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Irving is seeking a contractor to provide backflow device testing and repair services for approximately 300 backflow devices annually across various locations throughout the city. The contractor will be responsible for testing groupings of backflow devices throughout the year as assigned. Questions or requests for clarification should be submitted through the online solicitation's question tab, with responses posted after consultation with appropriate department personnel. Significant changes to specifications will result in an addendum. The City of Irving strongly encourages electronic submission of responses to this bid. Assistance with electronic submittals is available by calling the individual listed on the bid. Electronic bidding is preferred for its efficiency and environmental benefits.
