Description
The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School seeks professional services to create a baseline energy model for its approximately 5.6-million-square-foot Worcester campus and provide ongoing management, maintenance, validation, and technical support. The scope covers academic, administrative, clinical, research, parking, and central-plant facilities, with modeling performed in accordance with the UMass Chan Clean Energy Modeling Guidelines and applicable ASHRAE requirements. The contractor will update the model for capital projects, renovations, building-system and space-use changes, utility-meter changes, new data sources, and central-plant or distribution-system modifications. Services also include quarterly calibration and validation using utility, submeter, and building-management-system data; scenario and sensitivity analyses; energy-conservation-measure evaluation; measurement and verification support; model reviews; documentation, version control, and change logs; coordination meetings; reporting; and time-sensitive technical analyses. The proposal must include a technical approach, staffing and qualifications, relevant project experience, a proposed schedule, pricing, and at least three similar client references.
