Description
Ada County Highway District is soliciting electronically sealed bids for reconstruction and widening of Stoddard Road between Victory Road and Overland Road. The work includes full-depth asphalt pavement reconstruction; curbs, gutters, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, a multi-use path, bike lanes, median islands, pavement markings, roadway lighting, pedestrian hybrid beacons, and rectangular rapid-flashing beacons; retaining wall and fence work; and traffic control. The project also includes widening the Ridenbaugh Bridge, piping the Hardin Drain, concrete canal lining, irrigation improvements, water main and sewer work, storm drainage, fiber optic conduit and junction boxes, utility adjustments and relocations, landscaping and sprinkler restoration, and construction surveying. Bids require 10% bid security, and the apparent low bidder must provide full-value performance and labor-and-material payment bonds plus specified insurance. Irrigation and bridge work must be completed by March 15, 2027, and all remaining work by September 10, 2027; these dates are predicated on an anticipated November 16, 2026 notice to proceed.
