Description
Clinton-Essex BOCES is soliciting proposals for multiple options to provide dedicated, symmetrical wide-area network transport between its Internet hub and designated eligible-entity locations. Proposed services must provide at least 10 Gbps, be scalable to 25 Gbps, include committed bandwidth and service-level guarantees, and terminate at each site's building demarcation point. Options may include leased lit fiber, leased dark fiber, other third-party network services, or a self-provisioned applicant-owned network. The solicitation also seeks self-provisioned network construction, including four fiber strands (two pair), special construction, permitting, rights-of-way, project management, installation, splicing, testing, restoration, documentation, and related materials. Separate pricing is requested for recurring, non-recurring, special-construction, and maintenance costs. Network maintenance and operations may be proposed for self-provisioned or leased dark-fiber solutions, including 24/7 coverage, a two-hour response requirement, scheduled maintenance, break/fix support, and service-level information. Respondents must provide pricing, a proposal description, implementation timeline, network diagram, and customer references; pricing is requested for 36- and 60-month terms, with five optional annual renewals for applicable services.
