Description
The City of Rio Rancho is seeking a contractor for construction-base work along Lincoln Avenue from Camino Encantada NE to Enchanted Hills Boulevard NE. The scope includes removing existing ADA-deficient curb ramps; constructing parallel directional and diagonal parallel curb ramps; replacing curb ramps and portions of valley gutter; and reconstructing ramps to current ADA requirements and NMDOT ADA Pedestrian Standard Details. Related work includes traffic control, mobilization, concrete sidewalk, structural concrete, removal of structures and obstructions, landscape gravel, post-construction plans, public coordination, construction staking, testing, quality control, and record/as-built drawings. The project is funded through CDBG/HUD funds and is subject to applicable state and federal requirements, including Davis-Bacon labor standards, prevailing wages, affirmative-action and nondiscrimination provisions, and federal contract certifications. The apparent successful bidder must provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, and comply with specified insurance requirements. The work is to be substantially completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after the Contract Times commence under the Notice to Proceed.
