Description
The Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization (VLAWMO) is seeking a qualified law firm to provide as-needed legal counsel with experience in municipal and environmental law, particularly water resources. The scope may include contract and agreement review; stormwater management, public drainage, and utility matters; public drainage policy; legal boundary updates; Wetland Conservation Act appeals; enforcement actions; and Joint Powers Agreement updates. The selected firm will provide services under a two-year contract covering 2027 and 2028, with renewal at VLAWMO's discretion. Proposals will be evaluated based on relevant experience, technical capacity, references, experience with VLAWMO, billing rates, responsiveness, and the proposed scope of services. The proposal should identify primary consultants and support professionals, provide qualifications and billing rates, include relevant background and references, and identify the firm's main contact. Proposals should preferably be 10 pages or fewer and must be submitted electronically in PDF format.
