Description
Garfield County Public Works Department is soliciting bids for one new all-wheel-drive motor grader for public works operations. The requested equipment should have an operating weight of approximately 42,000–50,000 pounds, net horsepower of approximately 200–280 HP, a 14-foot moldboard, a front dozer blade with hydraulic lift and in-cab controls, and a rear hydraulic ripper with an operator-selectable hydraulic float option. Required cab and equipment features include an enclosed heated and air-conditioned cab, ergonomic controls, a rear-view camera, 17.5R25 snow-traction tires or equivalent, an engine heater, and a cold-weather starting package. Caterpillar 150 AWD and John Deere 772 P-Tier are examples; equivalent manufacturers will be considered. Bids must include the complete purchase price, proposed make and model, delivery availability, warranty information, and all required attachments, installation, and delivery. Optional buyback offers may be provided for one year and two years after purchase, with the guaranteed buyback amount, allowable operating hours, and applicable terms stated for each option. Garfield County will evaluate price, operator preference, and compatibility with its current fleet.
