Description
The City of Hollywood is soliciting bids for rehabilitation and replacement of the existing headworks odor-control system at the South Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes replacing two scrubber vessels and media, scrubber fans and blowers, caustic chemical storage and feed equipment, recirculation pumps, isolation and balancing dampers, fire dampers, ductwork supports, isolation valves, expansion joints, pH controls, local control panels, and associated instrumentation. The project also includes demolition and salvage of existing equipment, minor concrete, structural, yard-piping, electrical, conduit, cable, motor-control, and SCADA-related improvements, system testing and startup, odor-control air balancing, commissioning, and owner training. The initial contract term is 430 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion due within 420 calendar days and project closeout within 430 calendar days. A 5% bid guaranty is required, while performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price are required from the awardee; a bonding-capacity letter is required with the bid.
